Our upcoming May Concert features internationally acclaimed clarinettist David Rowden and harpist Georgia Lowe who unite for a duo recital. They will perform opera arias and art songs expertly arranged by Lowe for this unique pairing. The program includes familiar classics by Bellini, Dvorak, Puccini, Strauss and Tschaikovsky, transformed by the marriage of these two instruments: the charming bel canto voice of the clarinet and the rich orchestral palette of colours provided by the harp.
